Celebrated Bollywood actress Rani Mukerji who was last seen on the big screen with Mardaani is all set to be back to the arc lights after a long hiatus. The actress will make a comeback with a film titled Hichki which is slated to release on 23rd February 2018.
While she is returning to the big screen post-pregnancy, the actress started shooting for the film in April this year and wrapped up the shoot in June. Hichki is being directed by Siddharth P Malhotra and produced by Band Baaja Baarat director, Maneesh Sharma. Made under the Yash Raj Films banner, Rani is said to be essaying the role of a physically handicapped woman and the movie will revolve around the struggles of a woman with a disability, who will convert her biggest weakness into her biggest strength.
And some time ago a picture from the film of Rani was doing rounds on social media which made the wait more difficult and now adding to that the film’s trailer has arrived and you cannot afford to miss it.

Well, Rani had essayed a disabled character in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Black the film had garnered the actress a lot of appreciation and while Mardaani too was successful, we assume Rani is all set to be back with a bang.
And not only is Rani making a comeback, but the actress is also making a social media debut with the trailer. With many requests pouring in a source has revealed, "Rani realizes the love that audiences have for her, given the hundreds and thousands of requests and wishes that poured in from her fans every day. Most of her fans want her to join social media so that they can keep in touch with their favourite superstar on a daily basis. She is an inspiring, global star and all her fans want Rani to share her life, her thoughts, her experiences with them. Rani is a private person but she is making an exception for the promotions of her next movie, Hichki.”
The source further added that Rani wants to engage with audiences and her fans directly through the film’s official social media platforms and reveal details of her film and also launch the assets of the movie. Talking about the same, Rani said in a statement that, “I’m aware that my fans want me to join social media and I would like to thank them for their continued and overwhelming love.
